ehhhh such a buuuuuusy semester!!! i'm working at towers grab and go tuesdays and thursdays from 10-1 and wednesdays from 4:30-8 and i'm subbing for someone this saturday from 4-8 so i'm keeping busy.. and getting paid hehe ..... though it apparently takes 4-6 weeks for the first paycheck to come.... oh well..

anyway... my classes are pretty interesting.. i'm in asian american lit and i really like that class we're reading good stuff.. right now we're on poetry.. by li-young lee the first book we read was the woman warrior by maxine hong-kingston ... it's like her autobiography kinda... in stories about her childhood... i think i liked that one the best so far...

the other classes i'm taking are hebrew 103, econ 102, stats 110, and public speaking... got one fuuun semester ahead of me....

oh so BIG news: i don't have a computer anymore cuz my roommate spilt hot chocolate on my ibook and it died.. so right now i'm computerless it's a very sad thing.. i think i might wanna start a web comic about this girl who's really clumsy... the day after my roommate broke my ibook she broke her sunglasses.. they just snapped in two in her pocket.. lol she's very nice though so that's a good thing... i mean i could've been stuck with a roommate who just breaks my stuff and then just doesn't even care she did it so there's the positive side i suppose... don't get me wrong i love my roomie, she's really sweet, and the web comic wouldn't be to dis her at all.. i just think i need to find the comedy in the situation ... you know, to stay not crazy lol

wow this is getting pretty long.. so i'm gonna stop now... lataz!!

ok so i have a job now working at towers grab and go right... and i was supposed to have my orientation yesterday at 2 but for some reason i completely forgot!!!

that has never happened to me before!!! i don't know why i forgot about it but now i'm freaking out that i'm gonna lose the job before i even start it... the guy seems really nice and all.. and so now i'm just really embarrassed... i'm gonna call today and apologize for forgetting... i think it's just cuz it's the first week back and it's just stressful trying to fit everything in you know... i hope i can still keep the job but if not then ... i just fucked up and i'll know for the future not to do that again... AHHHHHH!!!!

why the fuck did i forget????????!!!!! it's not like i had anything else to do??? fuckfuckfuckfuckfuckfuckfuckfuckfuck!!!!!!!!!! ok... now that i got that out of the way

i'm gonna call, tell what happened, apologize like whoa and just hope for the best.. that's all i can do... right??

ok i'm back! i love those kids!! i'm so glad i got to babysit tonight even though it was only for a couple of hours..

anyway.. on with the news of my vacation.. new year's was fun

vicki, anna, bx and aggie came over with coconut rum and gummy bears.. mmm rummy bears

and i realized that i really like rum.... i REALLY like rum lol hehe yeah...

and last weekend me, vicki, anna and carol went to alchemy... a club in new haven... we went on saturday night, which was a 21 or over night but they let us in anyway

so that was cool... on the dance floor i was the first one of us to get picked up by a guy... i saw him outta the corner of my eye and i was like "hmm he seems to be getting closer to me" then he decided to dance with me.. ok that was my first time dancing with a guy and not only was he drunk, he was OLD!!! i mean like either in his 30s or almost 30... and also i think he bathed in his cologne... not only did i not like the smell of it, but it was ALL over him.. i don't know his name.. and i'm glad it was just a dancing relationship... i don't think i like dancing with guys... i like doing my own thing better...

i did master the art of moving away subtly when he tried to dance closer with me.. yeah.. but he still stuck around... oh well... i mean it was a fun experience but i think the next time i go i'm gonna go with at least one guy friend..... you know just to maybe help me out when i'm in that situation again

yeah so that's my vacation pretty much... not too interesting but whatcha gonna do....

so yeah detroit was awesome!!

i'm soooo glad we got to go to the bowl... though they didn't show pregame or halftime on tv...

and the colorguard didn't get on espn at all

oh well... it was still and awesome game... uconn kicked toleto's butt!!

haha ... bus ride was looong though.. way too long... though i met new friends so that's always good

all in all i had a very good time

oops i gotta go.. need to be babysitting earlier now... gotta love last minute changes ehh?? lataz

so i'm back to school... i got two papers this week... busy busy busy...

in other news... uconn is going to a bowl.. on december 27 in detroit, michigan.. MICHIGAN!!!! WHY??? oh well.. i guess i shouldn't complain.. i mean at least we're going to a bowl.. right? yeah i'm gonna think as optimistically as possible about this....

see, i'm happy!

umm.. yeah so i got over 100 friends on facebook now...

i'm such a facebook whore... lol

and that's about it for news with me... had an awesome thanksgiving break with lots and lots of yummy food and i got to see my aunts and uncles and cousins

and at the end of the me, my sisters, and some cousins all went to go see saw, and we all got scared.. good movie.. the editing really helped the suspense.. but the acting, well, lets just say cary elwes started out as a comedian for a reason.. and the others, they have no excuse lol... oh the horror!! the acting was terrible!!! it didn't ruin the movie, but still it wasn't good... but i definitely advise seeing it... wasn't worth 9 bucks though.. stupid movie theater that overcharges for their tickets...
